New! Victorian Ladies of Leisure: Scrapbooking

Wednesday, January 28

1:30 pm – 3:30 pm

Family photos have always been important to us as they tell stories of generations past. Join us as we explore the art of scrapbooking in Victorian times and the revival of its popularity today. You’ll learn about the Bell family who lived at Fairfields and see early samples of scrapbooks from the Nepean Museum’s collection. We’ll show you how to preserve and store your photos, and how to capture and preserve your own family heritage by making a scrapbook of your very own.

What to bring: Family photos, 2-dimensional keepsakes (such as newspaper clippings, etc.)

Supplies provided: Scrapbook, fancy paper, sheet protectors, adhesives, and scissors.

Cost: $15.00/person
