Early Settler SchoolGrade: 3 Length: 1.5 hours Cost: $25 per class Curriculum Links: Social Studies, Language, the Arts Mary Honeywell, the wife of Nepean's first settler Ira, was the first teacher in Nepean. Step back in time as our schoolmarm leads your students through a traditional school day. From writing on slates, to partaking in a spelling bee, your students will remember this settler experience. |

Victorian Christmas at FairfieldsGrades: 2 & 3 Length: 1.5 hours Cost: $25 per class Curriculum Links: Social Studies, the Arts Learn all about Victorian Christmas traditions and enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of the holiday season. Enjoy a guided tour, create an ornate ornament, make a tasty treat and play traditional games in the parlour. *This program is offered November through December at Fairfields.
