Emily Bracewell
Collections Manager

A graduate of the Algonquin College Applied Museum Studies program, Emily Bracewell also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Business. She comes to the Nepean Museum straight from the Canadian Museum of Civilization where she worked behind the scenes as an Assistant Documentalist and an Artifact Technician. Emily joined Nepean Museum in 2009.

Kalle was born in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. In 2003 Kalle moved to Sackville, New Brunswick to attend Mount Allison University where she received her BA in Art History. In pursuit of a career in the heritage field, Kalle then moved to Ottawa in 2007 to attend Algonquin College’s Applied Museum Studies Program. While attending Algonquin College, Kalle worked at Nepean Museum in various capacities. Kalle became a member of permanent staff in 2008. In May 2011 she assumed responsibility for seasonal programming and collections care and management at Fairfields designated heritage property.

Andrea Raymond

Andrea Raymond is a new resident to Ottawa. Andrea has a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree from Queen’s University. While pursuing her undergraduate degree in Art History, Andrea spent an academic year studying at the International Study Centre in the south of England. Andrea has worked in various museums and National Historic Sites throughout Ontario. She is an experienced coach and athlete. Andrea joined Nepean Museum in November 2010. In May 2011 she assumed responsibility for educational programming at the Museum.

Katie Graham
Museum Manager & Volunteers Co-ordinator

Originally from Teeterville, Ontario, Katie moved to Ottawa to attend Carleton University where she received her BA in History. She then  graduated from Algonquin College’s Applied Museum Studies Program in 2009. Katie has worked at several heritage institutions including the Eva Brook Donly Museum, the Canadian Ski Museum and the City of Ottawa Heritage Department. She originally joined Nepean Museum as Education Assistant in March 2010. Katie also volunteers her time on the committee for the Ottawa Regional Heritage Fair.
